Domain WHOIS & DNS lookup
Paste up to 10 domains. See when each was registered and when it expires, who the registrar is, and the A, AAAA, MX, NS and TXT records.
- Up to 10 at once, 50 per hour
- No cookies, no account
- Data from RDAP and Google DNS
Your list goes straight from this page to Google Public DNS and the registry's RDAP server. Nothing is sent to PennyData.

What this tool does, and its limits
This tool takes up to ten domain names and asks two public services about each one. Registration facts (registered date, expiry date, last change and the registrar) come from RDAP, the modern replacement for WHOIS, through the rdap.org forwarder. The address, mail, name server and text records come from Google Public DNS over HTTPS. Everything happens from your browser, so nothing is stored on a PennyData server. The limits are real: some country endings publish no RDAP data, owner names are redacted for privacy by almost every registry, and an expiry date is a reminder, not a drop date. If a lookup fails, the card says so and offers a Retry button. For lists of hundreds or thousands of domains, use the bulk version on Apify.
Questions
What the records mean
The IPv4 address the name points to.
The IPv6 address the name points to.
The mail servers that receive email for the domain. Lower numbers are tried first.
The nameservers that host the domain's DNS.
Free-form text, used for SPF email rules, site verification and more.
What is the difference between WHOIS and RDAP?
WHOIS is the older plain-text protocol for looking up who registered a domain. RDAP is its modern replacement and returns structured data. This page uses RDAP (through rdap.org, which forwards your query to the right registry), so you get the same facts a WHOIS lookup would show: registration, expiry and last-changed dates, plus the registrar.
Why is the owner's name or email not shown?
This tool does not try to show owner contact details. Since GDPR most registries and registrars redact personal data, and many return only a proxy or nothing. The page shows registration dates, the registrar and the DNS records, which are public and reliable.
Why are the dates and registrar blank for my domain?
There are three cases, and the result card tells you which one applies. The name may be unregistered (no registry record and no DNS). The registry for that ending may not publish RDAP data through rdap.org, which is common for some country endings. Or the lookup failed, for example a timeout or a rate limit, in which case a Retry button appears.
What does 'days left' mean? Will the domain disappear on that date?
It counts the days until the expiry date the registry reports. An expiry date is not a drop date: most registrars give the owner a renewal grace period after it, and the owner can renew early at any time. Treat it as a reminder date, not a deadline.
Does it tell me whether a domain is available to buy?
Not for certain. If there is no registry record and no DNS records, the card says the name looks unregistered, which is a good hint. Confirm with a registrar before you count on it, because some registered names have no DNS and some endings are not covered by RDAP.
